I am setting out on a journey. I have travelled a lot in the past, but it has been a while since I have actually gone somewhere new and to a place that I have been dying to go to all of my life. The first step is to travel to Greece in the winter months. As an archaeological illustrator, Greece has become like a second home to me, but I only travel here in the summer months. I continue to lead my life according to a school schedule - summer's off. But I am NOT in school. I have been for a long time now. Recently, I have taken the plunge and committed myself to illustration as a full time job. I need to get used to the idea that I am free to choose jobs when and where they are available. And that I am free to work anywhere I choose. My desk is mobile. All I need is my computer and an internet connection.
So, here I am in Greece.....
I am not sure exactly what work I will have over these next four weeks. But I am here and open to the possibilities. I have a lot of travel plans floating in my head....join me as I try to describe them! Hopefully my story will be a source of inspiration and enjoyable to read.
